Science!! We have a new force platform at the ran Science!! We have a new force platform at the range, and we are collecting some interesting data on the athletes. I shot a little rapid on it to get a baseline on what my stance looks like and where I put most of my weight. I was surprised because it was not where I thought I was holding! As I said, right now we are just gathering data, but we hope to use the information to learn more about the sport, prevent injuries, and help our athletes learn more about themselves. Some 50s from today! We are getting closer to Wo Some 50s from today! We are getting closer to World Championships in Cairo, and I am feeling good getting ready. I love training with a goal in mind. It gives so much more direction and drive. Training without a plan is like driving your car with no plan in mind. Sometimes it can be fun and a good source of relaxation, but long term can feel aimless. Right now, my aim is sure, and I am on course! Just doing the gym stuff! One of my favorite thi Just doing the gym stuff! One of my favorite things to work on is balance and mobility. Balance helps a lot in my sport because it brings awareness to the body which helps me notice subtle movements on the line. Mobility is critical for athletes in shooting sports to avoid injury long term. Sure, I'm not running around and tackling teammates, but I am working my body really hard to negate as much movement as possible while shooting that I can get super stiff and eventually injured if I don't take care of myself. #TeamLagan #TeamUSA #Paris2024 @usashooting @teamusa #WeAreTeamUSA #issf #pistol #mobility #gymtime #balance #workout #brooks
Had so much fun visiting Jurassic World The Exhibi Had so much fun visiting Jurassic World The Exhibition with my family last weekend! Barely made it out alive, but would definitely go back! Such a fun experience. The whole time I was giggling thinking of how neat it would be to be a kid experiencing a walk with dinosaurs.
